About this job
Amazon's new Alexa device software team in Bengaluru needs an OS and kernel engineer. This senior Software Development Engineer owns the operating system layer every device depends on: Linux kernel, drivers, RTOS and bootloaders.
You will maintain kernel configurations and board support packages, optimise boot time, memory and power, implement secure boot, port RTOS components and work with chip vendors. It needs seven or more years of software development and of Linux kernel or systems programming.

- 5+ years leading design or architecture
